DAY 71 - Seoul (Incheon), Korea
March 8, 2024
It was a late afternoon arrival in the port, passports were needed to be reviewed, and it was a Friday night. All this meant an 8pm arrival at our hotel in Seoul. We were exhausted, but I had made a dinner reservation at the tapas bar at the hotel. Leslie has never been a fan of Korean food...John really did not know much about it. It was supposed to be a three plate tapas with three drinks. But this definitely brought a new meaning to strange food.

Dried herring in rice paper with caviar. Rice popcorn on the side. Beef tartare |
with a seaweed chip. Pumpkin tea with chewy rice cake balls.

Definitely a ten on presentation.. But you had to eat it. Drinks were good and dessert left you with a good taste. But VERY kind people served us and explained the food as best they could. Leslie took one bite of each...John picked out a few tasty bites in each. Happy to head up to the room! |
